About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Expert Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Mobile Shopping Team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge features and robust testing frameworks. You will lead quality assurance efforts, specializing in automation and advanced software testing methodologies.
Collaborating closely with the Product Owner, developers, and cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure the delivery of high-quality features for over 9 million customers , setting the standard for quality and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of the design, execution, and maintenance of all testing efforts.
Develop and optimize test automation frameworks from scratch and maintain existing frameworks.
Collaborate with the Product Owner to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
Create, execute, and integrate test scenarios (e.g., automated, regression, exploratory) into CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in code reviews for both production and test code to ensure critical cases are covered.
Monitor and analyze test runs, application errors, and performance metrics.
Facilitate the flow of information, ensuring stakeholders are informed about releases and defect tracking.
Promote and coach the team towards adopting a quality-first mindset .
Act as a liaison between the team and the QA Center of Practice to share best practices and influence strategies.
Continuously improve testing tools and practices to free the team from repetitive tasks, focusing on innovation.
Must-Have Qualifications
6+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automated).
Expertise in test automation frameworks , with a track record of building and maintaining them.
Strong proficiency in testing practices across all levels (unit, load, cross-platform) within CI/CD pipelines .
Hands-on experience with Espresso , XCUITest , and API testing tools (e.g., Postman , Rest Assured ).
Knowledge of tools like Testrail , Charles Proxy , Bitrise , Jenkins , BrowserStack .
Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and Swift for automation testing under CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with microservices architecture , REST APIs , and UI testing.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools ( K8s , Docker ).
Strong communication skills with the ability to work autonomously in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Fluent in English.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with monitoring tools like Kibana or Grafana.
Knowledge of cross-platform testing methodologies .
Proven ability to lead and influence QA strategies across multiple teams.
