  • Negotiation:Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and cost savings.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with civil engineering and project management teams to understand project requirements, specifications, and timelines for materials and equipment.
  • Quality Assurance:Monitor supplier performance to ensure the delivery of high-quality materials that meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Logistics and Delivery:Oversee the timely delivery of materials to project sites, ensuring they arrive in accordance with project milestones.
  • Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, purchase orders, contracts, and inventory levels for reporting and bookkeeping.
  • Technical Specification Analysis:Analyze project drawings and material specifications to determine security requirements and ensure materials are appropriate for the civil project.
  • Cost Control:Implement cost-saving strategies and conduct cost analyses to stay within budget.
