Radiographer

Key Duties:

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging per clinical protocol.
• Safeguard patients by adhering to radiation protection and safety regulations.
• Maintain and operate imaging modalities; perform QA checks.
• Prepare and support patients through imaging procedures.
• Document patient data, image results, equipment logs.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and support educational initiatives.
• Participate in audits, QA programs, and contribute to departmental development.
• Fulfill administrative and on-call responsibilities.
• Engage in on-call or standby rotas, providing imaging services during out-of-hours emergencies
• Handle clerical duties like appointment correspondence, appointment lists, and basic billing tasks.
• Maintain adherence to clinical governance, health & safety, and infection control policies.

Qualification:

Diploma, Bachelor's in Radiography, Medical Imaging, or Diagnostic Radiology.

Experience:

Varies from entry-level (hospital, clinical imaging) to senior roles overseeing advanced modalities.

Technical Proficiency:

Skilled in multiple imaging modalities, equipment operation, like X-ray, Mobile X-ray, CT, Ultrasound Scan and PACS/RIS systems.
