Responsibilities:

- Develop codes for utilising various hardware and capabilities built into a microcontroller, such as ADCs, timers, RTCs, power-saving and sleep modes, etc.- Participate in requirements analysis and collaborate with internal teams to produce firmware designs and architectures.- Review, revise, update, refactor and debug code.- Drive peer reviews and peer testing across different modules developed.- Carry out documentation throughout the product development life cycle.- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field.- 3+ years of experience in microcontroller programming.- Strong experience with processor (ARM) or 32 bit MCU, and peripherals like Timers, WatchDog Timer, GPIO, Interrupts, and Memory management, and communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, USB etc.- Excellent debug capabilities using JTAG/ SWD, Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers.- Hands-on experience in BLE stack.- Working knowledge of Real-time Operating systems (RTOS) like FreeRTOS, Contiki, Zephyr.- Familiarity with source control management software (SVN, Git).- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Deep understanding of microcontroller's architecture and its working.- Experience at handling huge codebases and designing of multi-layered architectures.- Experience in optimisation of Microcontroller codes for specific goals like power efficiency, speed and memory space optimisations.- Knowledge in other wireless connectivity protocols such as Wifi, ZigBee, LoRa, IEEE 802.15.xx etc.- Experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support.- Prior Brain Computer Interface Device development experience.- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
