Responsibilities :
- Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, and support transitioned work from Group (projects, change requests, production fixes) across all application layers.
- Champion quality assurance within the team, ensuring deliverables meet Bank-defined software development methodologies and tools.
- Partner closely with the Group domain team to plan and manage the transitioned deliverables effectively.
- Develop and maintain robust and scalable Java applications for the Banking domain.
- Utilize technical knowledge of UNIX/LINUX, Oracle databases, SQL, and Unix scripts to support development tasks.
- Possess a good understanding of business processes related to Cards, remote commerce, API integration frameworks, collections, and loyalty domains within the Banking industry.
- Work effectively within the established change management processes to ensure smooth implementation of transitioned deliverables.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in developing and supporting enterprise applications, preferably in the Banking sector.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language with experience in object-oriented design principles.
- Experience working within a defined SDLC methodology.
- Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX operating systems, Oracle databases, SQL, and Unix scripting.
- Understanding of Banking domain concepts related to Cards, remote commerce, API integration, collections, and loyalty programs (a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
