Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and imaginative Senior Graphics Designer to lead our design team in producing exceptional visual content. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in graphic design, a strong portfolio, and the ability to mentor and inspire junior designers. This role requires creativity, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:Design Leadership:

Lead the design team in creating high-quality visual content for various platforms, including digital, print, and social media. Provide creative direction and ensure design consistency across all projects.Creative Development:

Conceptualize and develop innovative design solutions that align with YAAS’s brand identity and strategic goals. Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.Project Management:

Oversee multiple design projects from inception to completion. Manage timelines, resources, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.Mentorship:

Guide and mentor junior designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.Design Execution:

Create a range of design materials, including but not limited to graphics, illustrations, infographics, branding elements, and promotional materials.Client and Stakeholder Communication:

Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their design needs and preferences. Present and articulate design concepts and solutions effectively.Innovation:

Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques. Integrate new design trends and technologies to keep YAAS’s visual content fresh and cutting-edge.

Qualifications:Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in various design styles and projects.Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma, or other design tools. Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.Creativity:

Exceptional creative skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering visually stunning designs.Leadership:

Proven experience leading design projects and mentoring junior designers. Ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present and articulate design concepts and ideas clearly and effectively.Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Advanced certifications or additional training in design are a plus.
