Inviting applications for the role of SM (Senior Manager), Supply Chain Planning Operations

The Candidate should have relevant experience as operations manager in supply chain planning of spare parts who is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the planning process within the supply chain. This includes developing and implementing strategies to optimize the supply chain, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing the supply planning process for global clients.
  • Run & manage a team of 40+ people in supply chain and excel P&L goals.
  • Lead and initiate discussions with the client-side and highlight key focus areas and bring in new businesses.
  • Manage the delivery of outsourced services to ensure customer satisfaction and increased revenue through client up-sell.
  • Collaborate and work globally with other Genpact business leaders and functional leaders to build and commercialize existing and new product offerings.
  • Lead governance Monthly / Quarterly reviews with senior leadership.
  • In charge of ensuring that the right number of products or materials are available at the right time to meet customer demands and achieve business goals.
  • Developing and implementing supply planning strategies and policies to optimize inventory levels and ensure on-time delivery of products.
  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather demand forecasts and develop accurate production plans.
  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends, customer demands, and internal data to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Conducting capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure efficient utilization of resources and minimize supply chain bottlenecks.
  • Managing and optimizing inventory levels to balance customer service, working capital, and operational costs.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
  • Monitoring and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply planning, such as forecast accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.
  • Implements various corporate initiatives such as 5S, Lean, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification.

Qualifications

  • 8-14 years of relevant work experience
  • University Graduate
  • Relevant Experience & knowledge of supply chain planning.
  • Willingness to work in flexible shifts
  • Willingness to work out of Genpact Hyderabad Office (Uppal)


Preferred Skills


Strong communication & interpersonal skills.

Experience in Spare parts management would be a plus.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

People management, client management.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Automation skills & APICS certifications will be a plus.

  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software like Oracle
  • Insight into economic conditions and market dynamics
  • Interest in innovative technologies, such as automation software
  • Comfort with leading and training employees.
