Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Shopify Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development team, you will lead the development cycle of Shopify and Shopify Plus sites for premium brands. You'll collaborate with our Project Management and Account Management teams to deliver high-quality solutions that exceed client expectations while maintaining project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and customize Shopify themes to meet client requirementsImplement new user-facing features with a focus on responsive and adaptive designOptimize websites for maximum speed and scalabilityEnsure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs in collaboration with designersTroubleshoot and resolve issues with existing projectsCollaborate with backend developers and other team members for seamless project executionPerform code reviews and mentor junior developersParticipate in technical planning and architecture discussionsCreate and maintain technical documentationConduct performance audits and implement optimization strategiesHandle complex theme customizations and app integrationsImplement and maintain e-commerce tracking and analytics solutionsStay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

2-3 years of professional experience in front-end development, specifically with ShopifyProficient in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript (ES5/ES6)Experience with Shopify CLI and Theme KitKnowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js)Experience with responsive and adaptive design principlesFamiliarity with version control systems like GitUnderstanding of SEO best practices and performance optimization techniquesExperience with cross-browser compatibility and debuggingProven track record of successful Shopify store launchesKnowledge of e-commerce security best practicesAbility to convert design files from Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, or Figma into functional codeStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills and a team-player mindset

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Shopify Plus and delivering mid to large-scale projectsUnderstanding of design principles and user experience (UX)Experience with headless Shopify implementationsKnowledge of GraphQL and Shopify's Storefront APIFamiliarity with BEM syntax markupExperience with package management tools (NPM, Yarn) and build tools (Webpack, Gulp)Experience using RESTful APIs and integrating third-party servicesFamiliarity with A/B testing tools and methodologiesExperience with performance monitoring toolsKnowledge of payment gateway integrationsExperience with modern CSS frameworks
