Brookwood Recruitment are supporting a leading challenger bank, who are looking for a Transition Manager, responsible for monitoring and assisting where appropriate Transition and other projects and maintaining a master project plan to monitor all projects in progress.


This is a 6-9 month contract role, to be based in Bangalore or Chennai. Day rate is negotiable.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Project manage all transition activities
  • Ensure the initial migration of services to Supplier is successful.
  • Work with Supplier in developing transition plan.
  • Assist Supplier in understanding the business impact of any migration outages.
  • Identify resources required for execution of plan.
  • Coordinate business unit acceptance testing.
  • Communicate status of transition to Contract Management Team and business units.
  • Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans for transition.
  • Early termination / back-out strategies.
  • Maintain project portfolio inventory.
  • Monitor Supplier’s productivity and quality measures for projects.
  • Assist in review of project estimates.
  • Monitor and report on projects – interface with supplier and business units
  • Coordinate with Supplier in establishing methodologies, processes, tools, and productivity and quality measures for the entire systems development life cycle.
  • Ensure incumbent teams fulfill their obligations towards transition
