Roleand Responsibilities:
The GIS Analyst willbe responsible for conducting data research and analysis. Thisincludes identifying candidate datasets based on specifiedrequirements evaluating new data and thirdparty informationestablishing data quality and delivering timely accurate reports.Additionally the analyst will provide statistical and spatialanalysis of datasets to understand their impact and act as an SMEfor new datasets offering advice to internal stakeholders.
CandidateQualifications:
The ideal candidate shouldexhibit attention to detail possess an inquisitive nature and haveat least 2 years of experience working in a data analysis roleinvolving geospatial data. A practical experience of using GISsoftware such as QGIS and ETL software like FME is required.Furthermore familiarity with database technologies practicalknowledge of Python and SQL as well as experience presentinganalysis results using tools like PowerBi is essential.Additionally candidates should have practical experience withcloudbased data loading storage and datasets related to climatechange.
