Job Overview :

As a Test Lead for the Telco Analytics Platform, you will be responsible for leading the testing efforts to ensure the quality and reliability of our analytics solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test strategies, execute test plans, and deliver high-quality software products that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Strategy and Planning :

- Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for the Telco Analytics Platform.

- Define test objectives, scope, approach, and deliverables in collaboration with project stakeholders.

- Estimate testing efforts and resources required for the project.

Test Execution and Management :

- Lead the execution of test cases, including functional, performance, and regression testing.

- Ensure thorough test coverage by designing and implementing test scenarios and test cases.

- Coordinate and manage the testing activities of a team of testers, both on-site and offshore.

Defect Management :

- Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool.

- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.

- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address recurring issues.

Automation and Tools :

- Implement test automation frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing.

- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies to continuously improve testing processes.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide testing insights.

- Communicate test progress, results, and risks to project stakeholders and senior management.

- Facilitate test-related meetings, such as test planning and defect triage sessions.

Quality Assurance :

- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.

- Mentor and coach junior testers to build a high-performing testing team.

- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance product quality.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 6 to 9 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on analytics platforms or - telecommunications.

- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Experience with test automation tools (e., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.)

- Proficiency in defect management tools (e., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to lead and manage a team of testers effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with telco analytics platforms and data analytics.

- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- ISTQB certification or equivalent
