Title: Unity Developer – VR/AR (Chennai)Location: Chennai, IndiaShift: Flexible / Night shifts as requiredKey Responsibilities:- Design and develop immersive AR/VR experiences using Unity, bringing virtual environments to life.- Create and integrate 3D environments: modelling, lighting, terrain, spatial audio, interaction logic.- Develop animations and animated content (characters, objects, environment elements) and integrate them into Unity pipeline.- Work closely with artists, designers, and developers to ensure seamless blend of animation, design and functionality.- Optimise performance, memory usage and responsiveness for AR/VR platforms.- Debug, test and iterate experiences across multiple devices or platforms, ensuring quality and stability.- Stay updated with latest VR/AR trends, tools and best practices.Required Skills & Experience:- Strong proficiency in Unity (C# scripting) and relevant AR/VR SDKs/tools.- Demonstrable experience in building 3D environments and integrating animations into those environments.- Good understanding of animation concepts (rigging, keyframe animation, blending) and ability to implement them.- Experience with performance optimisation for real-time 3D/VR/AR applications.- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working in a cross-functional team.- Ability to work non-standard hours including night shifts when project demands require.Preferred Qualifications:- Prior experience in AR/VR environment development (for headset, mobile or immersive installations).- Portfolio showcasing AR/VR projects, environment creation, or animation work.- Familiarity with 3D modelling/animation tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max).- Understanding of user interaction design in VR/AR (spatial UI, motion controls, etc).What We Offer:- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AR/VR projects in an innovative environment.- Collaborative, creative team where your contributions have visible impact.- Flexibility for shift work and potential for career growth in immersive tech domain.- Based in Chennai, with access to a vibrant tech ecosystem.How to Apply:If you’re excited about creating immersive worlds and meet the criteria above, please send your CV, link to your portfolio/showreel, to .
