for the R&D Engineering function of Medtronic Engineering and Innovation Center R&D facility for our Cardiac Rhythm and Heart Failure (CRHF) Software division. The individual will operate in all phases and contribute to all activities of the software development process. Candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, team environment.The Senior Engineer frequently interacts with Tech Lead, other developers, V&V engineers, internal partners and stakeholders concerning estimations, design, implementation or requirement clarifications, works closely with global sites.The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a passion for technology and creative problem solver. SW development & testing, prototype development and testing (software).A Day in the Life

Design, Develop and test Software high integrity software for medical devices.Learn and understand software standards for Medical devices, ex. IEC62304.Define and implement software requirements and designs and review software developed by other team members.Contributes and applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to solve complex technical problems.Implement software requirements and designs using C#,.Net Framework, .Net Core, Angular, SQL Server,HTML, TypeScript, CSS, , Entity Framework and Karma/Jasmine. Review software developed by other team members.Participate in process improvement initiatives for the software team. This includes recognizing areas for improvement as well as working with others to develop and document process improvements.Demonstrate ownership of software feature/module and drive development of the feature/module through SDLC.Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices to junior software engineers.Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will increase team velocity.Maintain, improve and design new software tools.Work under general direction and collaboratively with internal and external partners

Job Responsibilities8 years of relevant work experience in Software development3+ years of strong experience in Angular 4 or Higher.4+ years experience building responsive, single page web applications using modern front-end JavaScript technologies like Angular, React etc.4+ years experience in working in .Net Framework,C#, .Net Core.3+ years experience in creating and/or consuming RESTful web services3+ years of experience using Agile methodologyHighly Knowledgeable in Test Driven Development methodologies.Experience in Design patterns such as MVP, MVVM, Clean architectureExperience in working with GIT/TFS/Azure DevOps and CI environments.Experience building secure softwareMust Have: Minimum Requirement

Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Sciences, Bio-Technology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a premium instituteStrong knowledge of software design, development, debug and test practicesExperience in one or more of the following operating systems: Windows, Linux, AndroidExpert understanding of enterprise-class system concepts (Deployment, Performance, Scalability, Availability, and SecurityExperience implementing Cloud and/or Hybrid-Cloud solutions a plusAbility to review and create technical design documentationStrong understanding of testing concepts to participate in unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and performance testingMicroservices architecture experience a plus.Nice to HaveExperience in software design for medical devicesDemonstrated skills in writing engineering documents (specifications, etc.)Experience with configuration management toolsExperience with Agile methodologies and Test-Driven DevelopmentExperience in Open Source development platform/toolsAbility to consistently perform well during times of increased work loadAbility to work on cross-functional project teams comprised of software verification and development engineers, system engineers, human factor engineers and quality engineers.Design/test experience working within a regulated environment.Working Knowledge of DRM, Six-Sigma principlesYour Answer
