Primary Duties:

- Backend Construction: Craft and deploy backend functionalities, APIs, and services with languages like Node.js. Establish and maintain reliable backend infrastructures that proficiently handle data operations.

- Database Oversight: Craft and refine database structures and queries, focusing on efficiency and swift data access. Engage with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

- API Engineering: Create RESTful APIs to bridge frontend and backend interactions. Guarantee API robustness, user authentication, and secure data handling.

- Architectural Design: Work with the tech team to devise the system’s architecture, prioritizing scalability, performance, and security. Innovate and upgrade backend frameworks.

- Quality Assurance: Develop and conduct tests, and utilize debugging tools to ensure backend stability and code integrity. Apply testing frameworks and automate tests to confirm backend functionalities.

- Performance Tuning: Detect and improve performance issues in backend systems by optimizing code, enhancing database queries, and adjusting infrastructure.

- Team Collaboration and Documentation: Engage with different teams to gather requirements and produce superior backend solutions. Document technical designs, APIs, and architectures for future use and team knowledge base.

- Integration and Deployment: Align with DevOps for efficient integration and deployment workflows, maintaining a CI/CD pipeline, version control, and code review practices for streamlined software deployment.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- In-depth knowledge of backend programming languages like Node.js.

- Practical experience with web frameworks such as Express.js.

- Skilled in crafting RESTful API.

- Strong grasp of database systems, both relational and NoSQL.

- Proficient with version control systems like Git and collaborative coding environments.

- Exposure to cloud services (AWS) and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.

- Well-versed in software testing practices.

- Comprehension of security protocols for backend development.

- Excellent analytical abilities and team collaboration ethos.

- Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
