In this role, you’ll own the creation of player-facing UI elements - from icons and menus to immersive backgrounds. You’ll collaborate closely with our Leads, UI/UX Designers, Technical Artists, and Engineers to craft cohesive, visually engaging, and memorable player experiences.Key Responsibilities:Design and produce visually compelling art for game UI and in-game elements.Create art that aligns with the overall art style and creative direction of each project.Build player-facing game assets that meet brand, design, functionality, and technical requirements.Own and refine the in-game UI to ensure seamless integration of art and user experience.Use motion and animation thoughtfully to enhance player immersion.Work collaboratively with leads, artists, and cross-functional teams to maintain a unified visual vision.Iterate on UI visuals based on team collaboration, playtesting, and user feedback.Ensure visual consistency and performance across multiple devices and screen resolutions.What the Role InvolvesTaking ownership of art development across multiple mobile game projects.Creating 2D art assets, backgrounds, icons, and characters.Participating in art reviews, incorporating feedback, and aligning with the project’s creative direction.Troubleshooting creative and technical art challenges during production.QualificationsRequired: A portfolio showcasing previous work in games or personal projects relevant to this role.2-5 years of proven experience as a Game Artist.Proficiency in creating 2D assets and game characters .Strong skills in UI design for content-driven games.Versatility - ability to conceptualize, illustrate, and deliver game-ready art.A creative, independent mindset with the ability to quickly learn new tools and techniques.Excellent communication skills for presenting visuals, ideas, and feedback.Experience at a mid, senior, or lead level within a game art team.Strong understanding of art fundamentals (colour, composition, typography, visual hierarchy, etc.).Willingness to explore multiple disciplines such as UI , VFX , and animation .Expertise in Photoshop , Illustrator , and other industry-standard art tools.Ability to quickly create and iterate on art concepts.Collaborative mindset - able to work closely with designers to align art with gameplay and player experience.Familiarity with using AI tools to enhance art workflows and creative output.What We OfferCompetitive salary with a discretionary annual bonus scheme.Flexible working hours and work-from-home options.Relocation allowance for non-local candidates.A beautifully designed, spacious office in the heart of Indiranagar, Bengaluru.A chance to work directly with experienced founders and industry veterans.A fun, dynamic, and creative work environment that values innovation and collaboration.
