We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented Assistant Manager Operations to join our dynamic Logistics team. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations optimizing processes and ensuring the smooth of order fulfilment and logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills excellent communication abilities and experience in managing operational tasks within a fastpaced eCommerce environment. About Us ShopDeck: Founded by IITB 14 Alumnus backed by Chiratae Ventures Elevation Capital Venture Highway in SeriesB funding ShopDeck is growing fast and solving problems in the Indian D2C market by helping ecommerce sellers easily create and scale their online stores and sell D2C (Direct to consumer) profitably. We envision that apart from selling on Marketplaces (AZ/FK etc.) there is a huge potential for existing online sellers to generate sizable revenues from their own website/app but are unable to do so due to lack of expertise in website building digital marketing and fulfilment logistics. ShopDecks Software and services model helps fulfil this exact gap.   • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations related to order processing logistics to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency reduce costs and improve service quality.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and supervise operations team including training performance management and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with 3PLs sellers and other vendors to ensure effective delivery and resolution of operational issues.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve operational challenges including discrepancies delays and customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present operational reports and insights to management highlighting key metrics trends and areas for improvement.
What you will bring along:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Operations Management Logistics or a related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus.
  • 35 years of experience in operations management preferably within eCommerce whereas minimum 1 Year of team handling experience.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce operations including inventory management order fulfilment and logistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
  • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
