Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applicationsParticipate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructureEvaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goalsReview and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the futureDesign, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third-party vendorsDesign, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practicesMake decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirementsDirect the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure successRecommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve resultsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsInteract with customer and vendorRequired Qualifications:
BE/BTech/MCA8+ years of experience in the following skills zVM, zLinux installation, upgrades, patching, vulnerability Remediation, Production support, trouble shooting, Server Builds, Velocity tool, Change and Inc/Problem management, Manual/playbook documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external product vendors etc.Experience/exposure in pSeries Hardware and firmware engineering and support with AIX/RHEL OS, Shell, python ScriptingDesired Qualifications:
