The expectation would be to: Lead the engagements with multiple Global as well as market stakeholders Manage multiple key projects with support from other team members. Guide JG6/JG7 team members, review code and models, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions. Best practices implementation to ensure we are aligned with external benchmarks. Have the knowledge & enthusiasm to utilize Gen AI in all its shape & forms from writing prompts to creating Generative AI agents Be Comfortable & motivated to do analysis across DIPP (Descriptive, Inquisitive, Predictive & Prescriptive) spectrum Governance & Quality: Champion MCDS digital quality standards, ensuring compliance with security, ethics, and model governance requirements. What you’ll be doing Stakeholder management Gather requirements from different stakeholders on regular basis and translate them into technical tasks Ensure timely communication and course correction for all tasks Be the Single point of contact for all global & local data science needs Be able to tie business use cases to analytical solutions Explain technical Machine learning & AI solutions to non-technical stakeholders Perform or Guide JG6 BI analysts for all Current & Future Analytical tools across different areas of Business (including but not limited to): Root Cause Analysis for business performance Detecting patterns & generating insights for specific business use cases End to End Promotional assessment. Design a tracking process & develop a machine learning model which can optimize and evaluate promotions based on user objective Demand transference – Assessing the impact of NPDS (new product developments) & Private label introductions on the current assortment Evaluating Halo & Cannibalization in promotions as well as non-promotional scenarios. Including assessing Basket Affinity Out of Shelf – Be able to develop, Optimize & scale existing Out of shelf solutions or if need be build from scratch Generate insights & coherent storylines across the 5Ps (Performance, Product, Promotions, Pricing & Placement) through collaboration with other teams Generative AI Development – Have the knowledge to be able to design scalable business facing solutions by utilizing generative AI Exploratory data analysis – Have the business & technical knowledge to be able to perform exploratory analysis in databricks for different initiatives within NFR Have a deep understanding of the NFR business preferably across the 5Ps Be able to guide the JG6 team members and contractors in their regular day-to-day job What you bring 6+ years in Power BI, SQL & Data Analysis with preferred experience in Python & Databricks Hands-on experience in data science, with a strong focus on retail network, customer, or marketing analytics.
