Job Description:


Overview:

  • Core Focus:  Sustainable technical architecture and end-to-end solution design
  • Collaboration : Works closely with cross-functional business and technical teams
  • Technical and Business Skills:  Balanced mix of technical and strong business skills; works with an enterprise architect for strategic direction
  • Leadership:  Leads the overall technical vision for a platform or solution(s), impacting business outcomes; strong Director-level leadership and behavior competencies

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver appropriate solutions across application or infrastructure platforms
  • Assist Enterprise Architects in defining enterprise vision
  • Define and enforce application development standards across the enterprise
  • Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards
  • Stay updated on platform, infrastructure/application development technologies and capabilities
  • Expert in application development, database design, and platform efforts; help project teams comply with enterprise policies, industry regulations, and best practices
  • Work with Enterprise Architects to ensure solutions mitigate identified risks and meet business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate risks and solutions to cross-functional key stakeholders
  • Research, design, and advocate new technologies, architectures, and products
  • Evaluate and develop application-level architectures for application development
  • Develop a reliable, top-performing, and cost-effective platform architecture with Application Architects
  • Lead the development and maintenance of platform strategy and architecture
  • Organize the development effort; provide motivation and guidance to the development team during the systems development life cycle
  • Responsible for the vision underlying the solution and the execution of that vision into the solution
  • Oversee programming, integration, and testing of software systems and associated devices
  • Select appropriate technology for a problem, balancing architectural concerns with enterprise concerns
  • Ensure the sustainability of a solution

MUST | Key Skills Needed for Solution Architect - 

  • Java:
    • Proficiency in Java, including experience with frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Node.js:
    • Strong experience in developing backend services using Node.js.
  • GraphQL:
    • Expertise in designing and implementing APIs using GraphQL.
  • Cloud Platforms:
    • Proficiency with Azure and AWS, including experience with various services offered by these platforms.
  • Microservices:
    • Experience with designing and implementing microservices architectures, both backend and UI.
  • Containerization and Orchestration:
    • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
    • Knowledge of Redis and Cosmos DB for caching and database solutions.
  • CI/CD:
    Strong experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
