Job Title: Program Manager and Editor

Location: Delhi

We seek a dynamic and experienced Program Manager and Editor to oversee the Viksit Bharat Fellowship program, among other responsibilities. This role involves managing the fellowship's operations, ensuring the quality of deliverables, and providing editorial and logistical support to fellows, mentors, and speakers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, excellent editorial skills, and a passion for India's development narrative.

Key Responsibilities: Program Management:

Lead the execution and evaluation of the Viksit Bharat Fellowship program. Coordinate the application process, including outreach, selection, and onboarding of fellows. Manage the fellowship timeline, ensuring all milestones are met, including application deadlines and deliverable submissions. Facilitate communication between fellows, mentors, and the foundation's leadership. Website requirements and development management, budget management, development of curriculum, and post-fellowship programs and activities.

Editorial Oversight:

Provide editorial guidance and support to fellows in developing their deliverables, including books, articles, case studies, and research papers. Review and edit submissions to ensure clarity, coherence, and alignment with the fellowship's objectives. Collaborate with fellows to refine their narratives and enhance the quality of their work.

Mentorship and Support:

Organize and facilitate mentorship sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities for fellows. Act as a point of contact for the public and fellows addressing their queries and providing necessary support throughout the fellowship.

Collaboration and Networking:

Build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts, mentors, and industry leaders to enhance the fellowship experience. Coordinate cross-collaboration among fellows to foster a supportive learning environment.  Monitoring and Reporting:

Track the progress of fellows and their deliverables, providing regular updates to the foundation's leadership. Prepare reports on the fellowship's impact, outcomes, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, preferably in a fellowship or academic setting. Strong editorial skills with a proven track record of writing and editing high-quality content. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Passion for India's development and a commitment to fostering meaningful narratives.
