Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Audit Leadership Develop and execute a comprehensive risk-based annual audit plan covering all business verticals and processes. Present the audit plan, key findings, and remediation progress to the Audit Committee and senior management . Align the audit strategy with organizational objectives, focusing on governance, compliance, and performance improvement. 2. Risk & Control Framework Evaluate and strengthen the internal control environment across operations, finance, manufacturing, sales, procurement, and IT systems. Identify potential business risks and proactively recommend preventive and corrective measures. Oversee implementation of enterprise risk management (ERM) practices and ensure ongoing risk monitoring. 3. Audit Execution & Reporting Lead and manage end-to-end internal audit reviews, investigations, and special audits. Ensure timely reporting of significant audit issues and track management action plans until closure. Develop and maintain standardized audit documentation, templates, and quality assurance mechanisms. 4. Governance & Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies Liaise with external auditors. Support the Audit Committee with data-driven insights and periodic governance reports. 5. Team Leadership & Capability Building Lead, mentor, and upskill the Internal Audit team to adopt data analytics, automation tools, and modern audit methodologies. Foster a culture of independence, integrity, and continuous improvement within the function. Desired Profile: Education & Qualifications Chartered Accountant (CA) Experience Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role heading Internal Audit in a manufacturing, FMCG, or diversified organization. Strong exposure to risk-based auditing, process re-engineering, ERP audits (SAP preferred) , and compliance frameworks. Skills & Competencies Deep understanding of financial, operational, and compliance risks. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Proven ability to present complex audit findings to the Board and senior leadership. Analytical mindset with a focus on driving process improvements and digital audit transformation.
