Your place in the team  

As a functional consultant you will need to listen to the client needs, understand difficulties with their existing solution, while hearing their motivations for migrating to a new one. The role is a balance of providing technical solutions and meeting and manipulating business requirements. 


As an SAP FICO consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. 

 

Job Description  

  • Being an SAP FICO Senior Consultant should be able to independently lead the module and drive & participate in business requirements workshops, conduct business meetings, system customizing, develop functional specifications, interact with business stakeholders, testing, train business users, master data, go live, support post go live. 
  • Lead team and work with them to address customer concerns. 
  • Independently handle the accounts/projects either Implementations, Transformation, or support engagements 

 

 Primary Skills required   

  • 8-12 years' experience in SAP FI and CO modules 
  • Experience in the IS-Retail sector.
  • Minimum of 3 full SAP E2E implementation experience with at-least 2 implementations on SAP FICO preferably in a lead role 
  • Knowledge in Record to Report Macro Process (R2R) 
  • Expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting 
  • Areas in controlling must include Product Costing, COPA, Profit Centre, and Cost Centre Accounting as well as Internal Order Management. 
  • Understanding and minimum of 8+ years of working experience on LATAM legal & Statutory localization requirements.  
  • Comprehensive understanding of SAP's customizing toolset, including IMG (Implementation Management Guide).  
  • Experience in working with interfaces and integration with third party systems 
  • Strong business process knowledge in accounting, finance and controlling 
  • At least 2 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes 
  • Experience in conduction workshops and freeze the requirements 
  • Experience in preparation of blueprints and solution documents 
  • Experience in writing functional specifications 
  • Knowledge of LSMW and other migration tools 
  • Experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment 
  • Involvement with FI integration focuses on other SAP-based ERP modules like SD, MM, HR, PP, and PM. 
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation. 
  • English speaking and Local language to communicate with Local business users and team in different countries. 
  • Planning and Co-ordination skills 

 

 Secondary Skills – Preferred   

  • SAP technical experience (Basic to Intermediate level only) - Debugging (Basic Level) Familiar with User-Exits/BADIs and other enhancements available 
  • Capable of working with developer around Reporting, ALE, EDI-Mapping, Interface. 
  • Exposure to FSCM, SAP HANA would be an added advantage 
  • Exposure to other SAP modules is desirable. 
  • Additional domain experience will be an advantage.
