- Minimum qualification required is B.E. / B. Tech. in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- The candidate should have 7-10 years of experience, specifically in the design aspects of Solar PV Power Plants / Power Distribution Projects
- The key responsibilities include timely delivery of engineering drawings & documents, ensuring alignment with project schedule, and reviewing drawings by design engineers & draughts persons
- The job requires checking of design & sizing calculations of engineering electrical equipment and obtaining approvals from the client
- The candidate should be capable of multitasking and delivering multiple things on time
- The candidate will be responsible for estimating and planning man-hour requirements, reviewing BOQ and submitting it to the contracts team, and providing technical clarifications
- The job involves coordinating with multiple disciplines for ensuring inter-departmental checks, and providing support & clarifications to the Site Execution team
- The candidate will be required to inspect equipment from the finalized vendor after submission of validation document, and clarify issues related to the design & requirements of the client to the Site Execution Team
- The job involves collecting inputs for project details from the client & Project Engineering Manager, coordinating with Operations team, and informing Design specifications for obtaining approval
- The candidate will be required to check deliverables such as Cable Routing Layout, Cable Tray Layout, Earthing Layout & Lightning Protection Layout
- The candidate should provide support to Electrical AC, Civil/Structural for reviewing Vendor drawings, and submit requirement of man-hours for undertaking & reviewing design & drawings of the project
- The candidate should possess an overall knowledge of equipment layouts and necessary calculations, and have detailed knowledge of Solar PV Power Plants
- The candidate should understand engineering activities covering Generation Estimate, Overall plant Layout, DC SLD, Solar Module selection, Inverter Sizing, SMB, Earthing Layouts, Cable Sizing Calculations of Solar PV Power Plants
- The candidate should have knowledge on National and International Codes and Standards, understand and interpret the contractual technical requirements, and facilitate the Project Teams as and when required
- The candidate should also have an overall understanding of the inter-disciplinary (Civil & Structural, Mechanical and Instrumentation) design aspects of electrical equipment.
