Job Description

Position Title : Senior Associate -IT (Network Engineer)

Location : Bangalore

The goal:

To identify someone with good experience in design, implementation and managing enterprise-level network IT infrastructure

Specific Assignments:

• Design, plan and implement network IT Infrastructure for Transformation / Integration /

Segregation throughout for different businesses across Asia and Middle East.

• These projects will be aimed to perform installations, configuration, and migrations of enterprise-level network IT infrastructure systems from legacy to the new solutions

• Propose and deliver solutions that best meet the business needs in terms of security, cost

and bandwidth

• Work close with Server, Cloud, and workplace team, do deliver the IT Infrastructure as wider project. Act based on the end to end view of the Infrastructure

• Document the solutions delivered and help to transition the service to regional teams in

final stage of the project

• Act as L2/L3 point of contact to support network related operation post migration

Qualifications

An ideal candidate should have strong 5+ years of experience in all of the below:

• Experience in Network infrastructure design and transitions

• Network components maintenance experience (upgrades etc)

• Firewalls (CheckPoint, Fortinet, ), Checkpoint Experience will be treated as key skill set

• Networking console management with one of the following techs: Checkpoint MDSM /Forti Manager

• Data center network experience

• Routing and switching (CCNA)

• Knowledge of protocols: IP, TCP, SNMP, SMTP, OSPF, VLAN, ICMP others

• SDWAN (Ideally Velocloud or FortiGate)

• Switch stacking – Cisco

• Experience of complex network migrations

• Wireless Experience with Cisco Meraki Access Points and managing through dashboard

• Network monitoring

• Ability to read, understand and create technical documentation of the delivered solutions

• Collaborative team player

• Very good command of English written and spoken

Below skills will be an advantage:

• CCNP /CCSA - Checkpoint

• Ideally a proven track of LAN/WAN/SDWAN network infrastructure design and

implementation during acquisitions, transitions and delivery on enterprise level

• Wireless and Switching experience with FortiAP and Forti Switches

• VOIP and QoS

• Experience with SSL client VPN with Checkpoint or Fortinet

• Data center network experience (Nexus)

• Basic Cloud Networking (Azure)

• Networking automation skill

PREFERED CANDIDATES:

The successful candidate will have a self-motivated, get-it-done attitude; the ability to think critically; enjoy working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines, details and quality. Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team in Asia and Middle East BE Computer Science/MCA or any other bachelor’s degree with the right experience.
