Our employees play a key role in driving and delivering innovation to establish IT as a core competitive advantage for Costco Wholesale.Position Title: Software Engineer 3 (Martech / Ad Tech)Job Description:Roles & Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable Martech / Ad Tech solutions across web, mobile, and backend systemsBuild and integrate APIs to support campaign delivery, personalization, and trackingCollaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver reliable and performant ad & marketing experiencesImplement targeting and measurement capabilities using first- and third-party dataContribute to the architecture and technical roadmap of the Martech/Ad Tech stackEnsure security, compliance, and data quality across integrations and data flowsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to latency, delivery, and data consistencyStay current with industry best practices, tools, and platform capabilities (e.g. DSPs, DMPs, CDPs)Support experimentation, A/B testing, and audience segmentation infrastructurePartner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutionsTechnical Skills:8-12 - years of experience in software developmentHands-on experience with Ad Tech or Martech platforms (DSP, DMP, CDP, CRM, tracking tools, etc.).Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python, Java, or similar).Experience with data integration, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (GCP / AWS / Azure).Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.Must Have Skills:Python / JavaREST APIsSQLCloud (GCP / AWS / Azure)DSP / DMP / CDPData pipelinesTagging / trackingGit / CI/CD
