Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team. The Quality Analyst will play a vital part in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our products and services through rigorous testing, analysis, and process evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, ensure compliance with quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

Role & responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases to ensure software quality and functionality.
  • Conduct manual testing, identifying and documenting defects and issues.
  • Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
  • Identify, prioritize, and report defects and issues to the development team.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and usability testing on web/mobile apps.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed test case documents and reports.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with both manual and automation testing methodologies and tools.

Preferred candidate profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the software quality field.
  • Proficiency in JIRA for issue tracking and test management.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to think from a user perspective.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
