Job Summary:

The Technical Engineer – Interior & Exterior is responsible for overseeing the design, coordination, and execution of technical aspects related to interior and exterior construction and fit-out works. This includes preparing technical drawings, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, ensuring material specifications, and providing on-site support during execution to maintain quality and compliance with design intent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications for interior and exterior works.
  • Prepare detailed shop drawings and as-built drawings in coordination with design and site teams.
  • Provide technical input for project planning, execution, and close-out.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate materials and finishes to ensure they meet project specifications and client expectations.
  • Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  • Participate in design development and value engineering sessions.
  • Support procurement team in technical evaluation of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure documentation and records are maintained for all technical approvals and changes.
  • Assist in preparation of method statements and technical submittals.
  • Coordinate MEP requirements with interior/exterior finishes and structural elements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in technical engineering roles, preferably in interior fit-out or facade/exterior cladding.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, finishing techniques, and technical standards.
  • Experience working on high-end commercial, hospitality, or residential projects is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of façade systems (glass, aluminum, cladding, etc.) and interior finishing standards.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13, ₹25,000.00 per month
