Responsibilities:Conceptualization and Design: Develop innovative design concepts and solutions based on product requirements, specifications, and market needs, considering feasibility and cost-effectiveness for local manufacturing.Detailed Design and Drafting: Create detailed 2D and 3D models, drawings, and specifications using CAD software (., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor) ensuring accuracy and adherence to drafting standards.Engineering Analysis: Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses (., FEA, thermal analysis) to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of designs.Material Selection: Select appropriate materials based on design requirements, performance criteria, cost considerations, and local availability.Prototyping and Testing: Participate in the development of prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs and identify areas for improvement. Analyze test data and prepare reports.Design Optimization: Optimize designs for manufacturability, assembly, cost efficiency, and performance, considering local manufacturing processes.Collaboration with Manufacturing: Work closely with manufacturing teams in Nashik to ensure designs are feasible for production and address any manufacturing-related issues.Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and test reports.Engineering Change Management: Participate in the review and implementation of engineering change orders (ECOs).Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve design-related issues that may arise during development or production.Staying Updated: Keep abreast of the latest engineering trends, technologies, and design software advancements.Communication (Local Emphasis): Communicate technical information effectively with team members and potentially shop floor personnel in Marathi and Hindi.
