Job Title : Java Principal Engineer

Location : Remote

Position : Full Time

Required Experience : 12+ Years.

Timings : 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST

Responsibilities

Job Description (Job Summary/Roles & Responsibilities):

Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance Java and Angular applications for enterprise-level systems. Architect and implement robust solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices and standards. Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables. Drive innovation and stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in Java, Angular, MySQL, and related technologies, advocating for their adoption where appropriate. Perform hands-on coding, code reviews, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality, reliability, and maintainability of the codebase. Define and enforce coding standards, development methodologies, and architectural patterns to ensure consistency and scalability across projects. Optimize application performance and scalability through profiling, tuning, and optimization techniques. Contribute to the evolution of our technical architecture, making strategic recommendations and leading initiatives to modernize and enhance our technology stack. Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups, to drive project success and timely delivery.

Qualifications

Desired Skills:

12+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on enterprise Java and Angular development. Proven expertise in designing and building scalable, high-performance applications using Java EE, Spring Framework, and Angular. Extensive experience with MySQL or other relational databases, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning. Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices, with the ability to architect complex systems from the ground up. Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving technical initiatives to successful outcomes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools, with experience working in Agile development environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education & Certifications : Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
