Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS, cloud formation, and cloud security and governance practices.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on security, governance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services including but not limited to Lambda, SQS, SNS, and more.

- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation with a focus on security and governance tools.

- Implement and manage cloud security and governance frameworks to ensure compliance and secure operations.

- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure and compliant cloud deployments.

- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as GitLab and Docker.

- Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, Go, Terraform, etc., to automate cloud operations.

- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost efficiency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and security.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation of cloud infrastructure, processes, and security practices.

Mandatory Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in cloud engineering or related roles.

- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, SQS, SNS, etc.

- Strong experience with Cloud Security & Governance practices and frameworks.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go, and Terraform.

- Experience with DevOps tools such as GitLab, Docker, etc.

- AWS Certified (e.g, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security Specialty).

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Cloud Custodian tool.

- Familiarity with AWS CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, or other AWS security tooling.

- Experience working with audit teams in cloud environments.

- Experience implementing security architecture on cloud platforms.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders and understand holistic system needs
