As we expand our design team, we’re seeking a seasoned Product Designer with a strong background in B2B SaaS products and platforms to help shape the future of our offerings.
As a Product Designer at Central Data Storage, you will report directly to the Chief of Staff & Head of Engineering. You will be pivotal in envisioning and executing the design strategy across our product suite. This is an opportunity to work closely with leadership, tackle industry-first challenges, and deliver user experiences that meet and exceed our enterprise customers' expectations.
What You’ll DoInnovative Design SolutionsLead the creative process in developing innovative design concepts for complex, industry-first challenges.Research and incorporate emerging design trends and technologies into product solutions.Conceptualize and prototype new features that enhance user experiences.Continuously test and iterate designs to optimize functionality and visual appeal.
Collaboration with LeadershipParticipate in leadership meetings to align design with strategic goals.Translate business objectives into actionable design initiatives.Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and insights to senior management.Act as a design ambassador to foster cross-departmental collaboration.
User Research & InsightsDevelop and implement comprehensive user research strategies (interviews, surveys, usability tests).Analyze user data to identify key insights and improvement opportunities.Collaborate with the product team to integrate findings into design iterations.Clearly document and communicate research outcomes to stakeholders.
End-to-End DesignCreate detailed wireframes and interactive prototypes to articulate design concepts.Iterate design concepts based on stakeholder feedback and usability tests.Ensure all design outputs align with product vision and brand guidelines.Oversee implementation to maintain design consistency and quality.
UI/UX Design ExcellenceDesign aesthetically pleasing and functional user interfaces tailored to our solutions.Develop detailed design specifications and guidelines for the development team.Continuously refine design elements based on user feedback.Ensure consistency across all platforms and devices.
Iterative ImprovementsImplement rapid prototyping and testing processes for continuous design refinement.Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate enhancements.Regularly update design practices to maintain high-quality standards.
Cross-Functional CollaborationFacilitate regular meetings with product, engineering, and data teams for shared vision alignment.Partner with product managers to prioritize design projects.Ensure design feasibility by closely collaborating with engineering teams.Communicate design rationale effectively to non-design stakeholders.
Product Vision OwnershipDefine and articulate a clear, long-term design vision for our product suite.Align design strategy with business objectives and technological trends.Lead brainstorming sessions and design reviews to drive strategic initiatives.Continuously evaluate and refine the product design roadmap.
Website Design OwnershipDevelop innovative design concepts for our website that reflect our brand and product strategy.Collaborate with marketing and development teams to optimize user experience.Regularly update the website design to enhance user engagement.Monitor industry trends and user feedback for continuous improvements.
Team Leadership & MentorshipMentor and inspire designers, providing guidance and regular feedback.Lead design workshops and training sessions to promote continuous learning.Set clear goals and performance metrics for the design team.Collaborate with HR to recruit and retain top design talent.
Who You AreExperience:5-8+ years of professional experience in product and app screen design, specifically within SaaS products or platforms.Experience working with fast-growth technology companies.
Technical Skills:Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and advanced prototyping tools.Adept in creating animations, motion designs, and interactive prototypes.
Ownership Mindset:You come with an entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of ownership—beyond a traditional 9-to-5 mentality—to drive impactful design solutions.
Flexibility & Resilience:Comfortable working in the CST time zone.Capable of handling high-intensity periods and managing burnout situations as needed.Ability to relocate to the Hyderabad office post 1-2 quarters.
Educational Background:Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Additional Attributes:Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and UX best practices.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
