Job Description – Lift Structural Designer

Position: Lift Structural Designer / Elevator Design Engineer
Location: Naraina Vihar
Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years in lift/elevator structural design

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare structural designs and detailed drawings for lift shafts, machine rooms, and support structures.
  • Work on AutoCAD/ SolidWorks/ Revit for lift layout and structural designs.
  • Coordinate with mechanical & electrical teams to integrate structural requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, IS codes, and elevator industry norms.
  • Prepare load calculations, structural stability checks, and material requirements.
  • Collaborate with site teams for installation feasibility and provide technical support.
  • Review client/site requirements and customize structural designs accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural design software.
  • Strong knowledge of load-bearing structures, shaft dimensions, and lift standards.
  • Prior experience in lift/elevator industry is mandatory.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of IS/EN standards for lifts.
  • Experience in 2D/3D modeling.
  • Problem-solving and design optimization ability.
