Founded in 2016, Coding Ninjas is one of the largest online coding EdTech companies in India. Imparting knowledge is of utmost importance to us and it is our mission to bridge the skill gap between colleges and industry. We teach 50,000+ students annually through our online platform with an aim to help college students and working professionals upskill themselves for rewarding employment prospects.
Coding Ninjas was founded by Ankush Singla, Kannu Mittal and Dhawal Parate, dawning from an educational background of IITs and Stanford who bring onboard their rich working experience in companies like Amazon, Facebook, Cars24, and other top startups in India. As pioneers in EdTech, we are continuously working on curating student-centric learning programs and are progressing towards becoming the de facto coding education company in India.
The company has raised more than 22 Million USD till date and is a subsidiary of InfoEdge (Naukri.com, IIMJobs, Jeevansathi,etc.) with the latter, acquiring a majority stake in Coding Ninjas.
With our exhaustive learning programs, 1:1 mentor support for effective doubt resolution and over 400+ doubts being resolved per hour, our focus lies on crafting learning experiences that equip candidates with learning, application and demonstration of capabilities in the software development domain.
A Little bit about you.
As an Associate Product Manager, you will work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to drive the development, execution, and continuous improvement of products. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the entire product lifecycle—from ideation to launch and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about product management and eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Development:
Your product strategy and vision are most effective when substantiated with real user interactions and data analytics. You will be responsible for incorporating user feedback, market data, and analytics into your product plans to ensure that products solve real customer problems and align with business goals.
Work with Product Managers to define and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring features are prioritized based on value, feasibility, and dependencies. A list of 10 items for the next release with a clear sense of priority will go a long way to ensure the release is both effective and on time.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
While working closely with Engineering, Content developers, and other product managers, it is crucial to identify dependencies early on to ensure a smooth release. You will help facilitate collaboration across teams to manage timelines, expectations, and deliverables.
Support the product team with market analysis, competitive research, and customer feedback to inform decision-making.
Product Requirements and Documentation:
You know from the bottom of your heart that a Product Requirements Document (PRD) that speaks out the user’s needs and wants is the best way to ensure internal buy-in and super-high productivity levels. You will contribute to drafting PRDs and ensuring they effectively communicate the customer’s pain points and the desired outcomes.
A simple annotated wireframe is much better than a 5-page PRD. You will create concise, clear documentation that resonates with stakeholders and teams, facilitating faster execution and alignment.
Ensure PRDs are clear and to the point—more than 5 pages and no one will read it. Keeping things brief and focused on the essentials will drive better engagement and execution.
Measuring Success:
A feature, no matter how great it sounds, is a true success only when it can be measured. You will work with the data analytics team to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure all features are measurable post-launch. Regular analysis of data will guide decision-making and fine-tuning of features.
Not all your features will be a runaway success and will need constant fine-tuning on an iterative basis. You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement post-launch and working with teams to iterate and enhance product performance over time.
User-Centric Design and Feedback:
Engage with customers to understand their pain points and translate insights into actionable product improvements.
Participate in user testing, beta programs, and gather customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings.
Product Roadmap Execution:
Track product performance post-launch, identify areas for improvement, and work with the team to drive optimizations.
Create and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of features and product releases.
Data-Driven Decisions:
Monitor key product metrics (e.g., usage, engagement, customer satisfaction) to evaluate the effectiveness of product features.
Analyze data to recommend product improvements and optimizations.
Ownership and Accountability:
In spirit, you are the CEO of your product. You will take full ownership of your product's success, working with teams to ensure timely execution, alignment, and continuous improvement.
