Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake , Azure Data Services , and PySpark . The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and analytics solutions on the Azure cloud platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF) , PySpark , and Snowflake . Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data marts in Snowflake . Optimize SQL queries and Snowflake performance for efficient data processing. Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into a unified data platform. Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to define data requirements. Implement data quality, data governance, and security best practices. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency. Automate data ingestion and transformation processes using Azure services. Stay updated with the latest technologies in cloud data engineering and analytics. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5–16 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or related roles. Strong expertise in Snowflake (data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning). Solid experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) , Azure Databricks , and Azure Synapse . Proficient in PySpark and Python for data transformation. Strong SQL programming and data analysis skills. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.G., Git, Azure DevOps). Familiarity with data governance , security , and compliance in Azure. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Nice to Have: Experience with Power BI , Azure Synapse Analytics , or Data Lake Storage (ADLS) . Exposure to DevOps , Terraform , or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) . Knowledge of machine learning pipelines or real-time data processing . Snowflake or Azure certifications.
