Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Offshore Safety Officer based in Mumbai. The Offshore Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting accident investigations, providing safety training, and maintaining security protocols. The role involves daily monitoring and implementation of safety measures, conducting risk assessments, preparing safety reports, and coordinating emergency response plans.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health
  • Experience in Accident Investigation and Safety Training
  • Knowledge of security protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on-site in Mumbai
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health or a related field
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector is a plus
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are advantageous
