Our portfolio includes work with Mercedes Benz's EQC, Jindal Group's Indian Startup School LMS, Amar Ujala’s Safalta Learning App, and Bihani Group's ViaVeda Astrologers Platform.Role DescriptionThis is an internship role for a Generative AI Engineer Intern at Pythrust Technologies. This is a hybrid role with flexibility for remote work. The intern will work closely with our product and engineering teams to experiment with large language models, build small AI features, fine-tune open-source models, and assist with integrating generative AI into real products. You will get hands-on exposure to prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, AI APIs, pipelines, and model evaluation. This is a high-learning, high-ownership role suited for someone who wants to build actual AI solutions rather than just theoretical projects.Note: This is an unpaid internship. It is designed for learning, portfolio building, and gaining real-world AI engineering exposure inside a fast-paced product team.Responsibilities- Experiment with generative AI models (LLMs, image models, embeddings, etc.)- Assist in fine-tuning and optimizing open-source models- Build small prototypes and AI features for internal product experiments- Design, test, and refine AI prompts and workflows- Support integration of AI capabilities into web/mobile products- Perform research on latest AI tools, techniques, and APIs- Document experiments, results, and implementation approaches- Collaborate with product designers and developers on feature buildingQualifications- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Generative AI- Good understanding of JavaScript and basic ML concepts- Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.) is a plus- Ability to learn fast and experiment independently- Strong research and analytical skills- Basic understanding of data preprocessing and model evaluation- Proactive, curious, and willing to build hands-on demos- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or related fields
