We're Hiring: Technology Specialist – Net App Storage Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 4+ Years (Net App Storage) Travel: Required within Bangalore (as needed) Are you a Net App NCIE-certified professional with a passion for deploying high-performance, enterprise storage solutions? We’re looking for a skilled Net App Storage Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in hands-on environments and enjoy building scalable storage systems that power modern enterprises — we’d love to meet you Your Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and upgrade Net App AFF, FAS, and E-Series storage systems. Implement Net App ONTAP (Data ONTAP/SANtricity) in high-availability environments. Integrate storage solutions using SAN/NAS protocols: i SCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, CIFS/SMB. Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and clients to design tailored storage architectures. Perform physical hardware installation (rack & stack), site audits, and system handovers. Troubleshoot technical issues, escalate to Net App Support when necessary. Create comprehensive diagrams, configuration notes, and installation documentation. Follow best practices and standards (NCIE/NCDA/NCSE) for Net App deployments. Apply data protection strategies including LUN provisioning, Snap Mirror, and snapshots. Coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs). What You Bring 4+ years of hands-on Net App storage installation experience. Proficiency in ONTAP CLI and System Manager. Solid understanding of network infrastructure: Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Cisco, Brocade. Experience with Net App tools: Active IQ, Auto Support, Unified Manager, Config Advisor. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel to customer sites within Bangalore as required. Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
