The Head of Production will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process at a Multi-Purpose Plant (MPP) with a focus on batch processes.

The role requires ensuring smooth operations, optimizing production efficiencies, maintaining safety and quality standards, and meeting production targets.


Job Location - Dahej ,Bharuch


Qualification: - BE | BTech Chemical


Experience:- 16 to 20 years


Job Responsibility:


Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to ensure smooth operations.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Enforce safety policies and practices to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills.

Process Optimization:

  • Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust operations to achieve optimal results.

Quality Control:

  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure product quality meets specifications and standards.
  • Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage production budgets and control costs to improve profitability.
  •  Ensure effective utilization of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare production reports for management, detailing performance metrics, production issues, and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to production processes and compliance.
