Kyodo is dedicated to democratizing coding education by eliminating the language barrier and making programming accessible to everyone, regardless of their proficiency in English. By teaching coding in native languages, we empower individuals to understand and write pseudocode that can be translated into any programming language.
Role: Paid Teacher Intern
This is a summer internship role at Kyodo located in Patna. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various coding projects and contribute to the development of educational resources. Your responsibilities will include:
Visiting schools four times per week, with each class lasting 1.5 hours.
Teaching and providing explanations entirely in Hindi, using Hinglish keywords for Python as used on our website.
Assisting in curriculum development.
Collaborating with the team on programming exercises.
We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about teaching less privileged people how to code and are comfortable with the use of Hinglish keywords in Python.
Qualifications
Proficiency in coding languages such as Python.
Prior experience with coding education or tutoring is a plus.
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
