Overview As a Gastroenterologist Surgeon Consultant you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with gastrointestinal conditions. Your expertise will be essential in providing highquality medical care and contributing to the overall wellbeing of our patients.Key Responsibilities

• Performing endoscopic procedures to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders
• Providing surgical interventions for conditions such as colon cancer gallbladder disease and pancreatic disorders
• Interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging to formulate treatment plans
• Conducting thorough patient consultations and medical histories
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Participating in research and staying updated on the latest advancements in gastroenterological surgery
• Training and supervising medical staff and residents
• Participating in departmental and hospitalwide quality improvement initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with medical and ethical standards in patient care
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and preventive measures

Required Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Gastroenterology and Surgery
• Proven experience in a similar role preferably as a Gastroenterology Surgeon Consultant
• Expertise in endoscopic procedures and surgical interventions
• Excellent understanding of gastrointestinal disorders and treatment modalities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and medical research
• Outstanding clinical judgment and decisionmaking abilities
• Valid medical license and willingness to maintain active credentials
