Purpose of the Position:

As a Cloud Data Engineer, this position requires candidate who are enthusiastic about data and driven to help in organization's AI & Analytics challenges. As a member of the team, you will help our clients on their data and analytics journey, by building data pipelines, improving consistency, and building the necessary infrastructure to support their analytics platform.

Key Result Areas and Activities:Share and Build Expertise-

Develop and share expertise in Cloud solutioning domain and actively mine the experience and expertise in the organization for sharing across teams and clients in the firm. Support the Cloud COE initiatives.Nurture and Grow Talent-

Provide support for recruitment, coaching and mentoring, and building practice capacity in the firm in Cloud.AWS Integration-

Integrate various AWS services to create seamless workflows and data processing solutions.Data Pipeline Development-

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services to support data processing and analytics.

Essential Skills:Cloud Service: 3+years in AWS Cloud ServiceAWS Tools: 3+years in writing AWS Glue jobs, using S3 and querying in AWS AthenaProgramming Language: 3+ years in Spark SQL, Pyspark, PythonScheduling tool: 2+years in Glue orchestrations, Airflow orchestration toolsDatabase: Querying experience and writing views in Snowflake, AWS AthenaDevOps: Git CICD (Person should be able to do deployments in PROD)

Desirable Skills:Good data profiling ability, analytics, exposure to medical domain data is a plus and comes handy in data profiling stageAWS Glue orchestration knowledge is good to have

Qualifications:Overall work experience of 5-8 years with a minimum of 3 years’ on AWS related projectsBS Degree in IT, MIS or business-related functional disciplineExperience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies

Qualities:Can influence and implement change; demonstrates confidence, strength of conviction and sound decisionsAble to work in a self-organized and cross-functional teamAble to iterate based on new information, peer reviews, and feedbackExcellent analytical, presentation, reporting, documentation and interactive skills
