Your work profile

You’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. Your role will include:

PostgreSQL Database Developers

Implement and maintain database code in the form of stored procedures, functions ,scripts, queries, views, triggers, etc. Work with front end developers to define simple yet powerful APIs. Work with product managers to ensure database code meets requirements. Participate as a member in Agile teams, and work with other team members to review user stories, estimate effort to build functionality supporting user stories, and participate in sprint reviews.

Desired qualifications

A bachelor’s or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 8+ years working as a database developer working with PostgreSQL(pgsql) Expert Level SQL, PL/pgSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views. Expert in database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels Strong hands on writing complex PGSQL, procedure and Functions & prevent blocking and Deadlocks Experience with message queuing, full text indexing, and other high performance data concepts. Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON. Knowledge in Installation/configuration/ maintenance and Administration of PostgreSQL Intermediate Level in TSQL : SQL Server Expert in transaction databases (OLTP) and ACID property with handling large scale application databases Ability to efficiently write database code without compromising data quality, privacy or security. Knowledge with CI/CD in Azure Devops

Technology stack

Microsoft .Net technology is primary Azure/AWS, SaaS/ PaaS/IaaS and Frontend technologies React, Angular or equivalent SQL and NOSQL databases (MSSQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL etc.) Distributed caching NCacheRedis, Memcached etc Distributed message queue – RabbitMQ/Kafka C#/Java /Ruby / Node.js / Python

Location and way of working.

Base location: Mumbai/Delhi NCR/Bangalore. Hybrid is our default way of working. Each domain has customized the hybrid approach to their unique needs.
