Senior Data Engineer – Snowflake & Python (Remote, India or EU)Location: Remote (India or EU-based)Start date: ASAP (ideally next week following interview)Contract type: FreelanceRate: 150 - 200 EUR Per DayAbout the roleAz-Tec Talent is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer for one of our consultancy customers, supporting a critical SQL Server to Snowflake migration project. This is a high-impact role requiring strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake and Python, with an immediate start.What you’ll do- Design, develop, and optimise data pipelines as part of a large-scale SQL Server to Snowflake migration.- Work with stored procedures, tasks, and functions to ensure performant and maintainable solutions.- Leverage Python for automation, data processing, and integration.- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust, production-ready data engineering solutions.- (Preferred) Develop lightweight applications and dashboards using Streamlit.What you’ll need- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.- Proven hands-on expertise in Snowflake and Python.- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, stored procedures, tasks, and functions.- Experience in migration projects (SQL Server → Snowflake highly preferred).- Excellent communication and ability to hit the ground running.Nice to have: Experience with Streamlit for building quick data apps.About Az-Tec TalentAz-Tec Talent connects exceptional freelance consultants with leading organisations across Europe and Asia.
