Job Description – Design & Technical Specification EngineerRole Overview- We are seeking a technically skilled engineer who can handle both design (2 D/3 D) and technical documentation. The candidate will play a key role in creating designs, calculating heat loads, and developing technical specifications to support our product development and client projects.Key Responsibilities- Create and modify 2 D/3 D designs of cold chain equipment, containers, and related solutions using CAD software.- Perform heat load calculations and recommend appropriate refrigeration/insulation specifications.- Draft, review, and update technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs.- Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to align designs with project requirements.- Prepare technical datasheets, compliance documents, and customer proposals.- Ensure all designs meet industry standards, certifications (ISO, ASHRAE, etc.), and safety requirements.- Support R&D for customized cold chain solutions.Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field.- 2–5 years of experience in design and technical documentation (cold chain, refrigeration, or HVAC preferred).- Proficiency in Auto CAD, Solid Works, or similar 2 D/3 D design software.- Strong knowledge of heat load calculations, refrigeration cycles, and insulation materials.- Experience in preparing technical drawings, BOMs, and specification sheets.- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
