Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Visual Designer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks related to graphics and design.

To be successful as a designer, you should have original ideas and have a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for designing and executing branding design work, website designs, social media creatives, and sales and marketing materials.

The role is based in Noida, where the team works from the office.

MadHatter Creative is a boutique design and web development agency in Bangalore, India. We work with our client partners to develop innovative design, web and marketing solutions that truly move the needle. This role is for our Noida unit, which works under the brand The Purple Rabbit.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Creation:

Conceptualise, design, and produce a wide range of visual assets, including

• Marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, advertisements),
• Digital graphics (social media posts, website banners, email templates),
• Presentations, infographics, and other brand materials, in alignment with project needs.
• Creating assets for websites, social media, email campaigns, presentations, and advertisements.
• Designing user interface (UI) elements, icons, and style guides for digital products as needed.

Project Ownership:

• Independently manage and deliver design assets for 1–2 assigned client projects, ensuring alignment with briefs, brand guidelines, and timelines.
• Take full ownership of all deliverables and project outcomes assigned to you, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Ensuring all designs align with the brand's visual identity, style, and guidelines.
• Communicate and present design ideas and concepts effectively to team members and clients.

Collaboration:

• Working closely with the account managers and the founder to conceptualise and execute campaigns.
• Partnering with other designers to work on creative designs and experiences.
• Proactively communicating task completion and delays to the stakeholders.

Innovation and Trends:

• Staying updated with the latest design trends and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the table.
• Proactively suggesting improvements to current designs and workflows.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Maniacal attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in visual design or a similar role.
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma etc.
• Working knowledge of Office tools like Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Microsoft 365.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative and versatile design projects.
• Excellent understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
• Bonus Points for knowledge of motion graphics or video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro) and online tools like Canva, Riverside etc.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
