Assistant Manager - Debt Management Services - Urban GCL 
Job Purpose 
The Debt Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating the recovery of overdue payments on loans or credit accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities- Achieve collections target by visiting customers or agencies.
- Monitor performance against set parameters and provide regular updates.
- Ensure legal guidelines are complied with while repossessing products.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Provide regular reports on collection activities and performance.
- Handle escalations promptly and effectively to resolve issues.
- Daily DRR (Daily Risk Report) management.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates.
- Case-to-case tracking.
- Resolution as per AOP within agreed timelines.
- Portfolio management.
- Debt collection strategy.
- Target achievement.
- Regulatory compliance.
- Reporting and analysis.
- Risk management.
- Team leadership.
- Vendor management.
- Coordinating with internal and external clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience- Proven experience in debt management, collections, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of legal guidelines for repossession and collections.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet targets within deadlines.
- Experience in portfolio management and developing collection strategies.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Team leadership experience.
- Experience in vendor management and client coordination.
- Proficient in risk management and regulatory compliance.
