Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software for automotive applications using Classic AUTOSAR standards.- Oversee the implementation and integration of AUTOSAR components and middleware on MCUs and MPUs.- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of embedded software engineers.- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and operation.- Ensure that all software development complies with automotive industry standards and safety regulations.- Conduct and oversee code reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance.- Participate in system-level design and architecture discussions, bringing your expertise to bear on critical decisions.- Lead hardware-software integration and validation testing processes.- Maintain detailed and comprehensive documentation for software design, development, and testing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.- Extensive experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on the automotive industry.- Strong proficiency in C programming language.- In-depth knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR standards and architecture.- Proven experience with microcontrollers (MCUs) and microprocessors (MPUs).- Expertise in embedded middleware and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, etc.).- Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and their application in embedded systems.- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with model-based development tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).- Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262).- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.- Hands-on experience with software development tools and environments (e.g., IAR, Keil, Vector tools).- Previous experience in a technical leadership or team lead role.
