Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and organized VFX Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring seamless delivery of projects, collaborating closely with VFX Supervisors and Producers, and maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout the production pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with VFX Supervisors and Producers to understand project requirements and translate them into effective edits.- Manage and organize VFX sequences, ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.- Work with editing packages such as Final Cut Pro (FCP), Adobe Premiere Pro, and other editing tools to assemble, review, and finalize sequences.- Assist in integrating VFX elements into live-action footage, ensuring seamless alignment with the director’s vision.- Maintain version control of edits and ensure proper documentation and communication across departments.- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges related to VFX editing.- Ensure all edits meet the creative, technical, and timeline expectations of the project.

Key Qualifications:

- Proficiency in editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer, and other related tools.- Strong understanding of the VFX pipeline, including an ability to work with VFX Supervisors and Producers effectively.- Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.- Familiarity with industry-standard file formats, codecs, and delivery specifications.- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and professionalism.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.- Prior experience in a similar role within the VFX or film industry is highly desirable.
