Weare looking for an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with astrong background in architecting and managing API gatewaysolutions on the AWS platform. In this role you will play a keyrole in designing implementing and optimising our API gatewayinfrastructure to enable seamless communication between diversesystems services and applications. andnbsp;


Responsibilities:and nbsp;

  • Lead thedesign implementation and management of API Gateway solutionsleveraging Kubernetes services like Istio Services Mesh andprovider solutions like Kong APIGateway.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsto define API specifications design interfaces and implement bestpractices for API Management including versioning documentationsecurity and performance optimization.
  • Developand maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such asTerraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate the provisioning andconfiguration of API gatewayresources.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines usingtools such as Concourse Jenkins or Ansible to automate thedeployment of API gateway configurations andupdates.
  • Design and implement monitoringlogging and alerting solutions to ensure the reliabilityavailability and performance of the API gateway infrastructureleveraging AWS CloudWatch CloudTrail and other monitoringtools.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidanceto development teams on best practices for designing andimplementing APIs integrating with the API gateway and leveragingAWS services effectively.
  • Stay uptodate withemerging technologies and industry trends in Kubernetes AWS DevOpsand API management to drive continuous improvement and innovationin our API Gateway solutions. andnbsp;


Requirements:

  • 812years of professional experience in DevOps or software engineeringroles with a focus on configuring deploying and maintainingKubernetes in AWS.
  • Extensiveexperience designing building and deploying API Gateway solutionsincluding handson experience with Kong API Gateway or Spring CloudGateway.
  • Solid understanding of API Managementbest practices: Authentication Authorisation Rate Limiting LoadBalancing Versioning and ServiceDiscovery.
  • Strong proficiency in infrastructureas code (IaC) using Terraform AWS CloudFormation or similartools.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines andautomation tools such as Concourse Jenkins orAnsible.
  • Solid understanding of microservicesarchitecture RESTful APIs and API designprinciples.
  • Strong troubleshooting andproblemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail and a passionfor delivering highquality solutions.
  • Excellentcommunication and collaboration skills with the ability to workeffectively in a fastpaced agileenvironment.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree inComputer Science Engineering or relatedfield.
