The Role:

Master Anaplanner

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models
2. Act as the architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions.
3. Run requirements gathering sessions and produce comprehensive documentation and use case requirements for approval
4. Exemplify The Anaplan Way in all tasks
5. Modify existing models as part of a connected solution; Optimizing and troubleshooting Anaplan models to enhance performance or to incorporate new functionality
6. Provide meaningful feedback and progress updates in a timely manner to the Director, Finance Systems and project teams
7. Ensure data integrity and model accuracy through robust testing and validation processes.
8. Lead data integration and migration solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage and Databricks.
9. Participate and/or lead UAT testing and deployment
10. Support the team to implement our Anaplan roadmap, coordinating and prioritizing roadmap initiatives, and provide recommendations and actions for improvements
11. Participate in existing Anaplan model landscape maintenance
12. Build strong relationships across all Enablement teams to ensure Anaplan models meet business needs and knowledge and skill set is leveraged, providing training and support where needed
13. Manage Anaplan security and administration including modules and dashboards. Ensuing company data is protected at all times.
14. Assist with adhoc reporting and reconciliations

Skills Required:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience working with Anaplan; implanting, maintaining, developing and building Anaplan complex models
2. Recognized accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, finance, or a related field.
3. Certified as Certified Anaplan Solution Architect or Certified Master Anaplanner
4. Experience of connecting data using Anaplan Connect, Cloudworks and other API tools
5. Experience of integrating with the other ERP and reporting systems, ideally those in our landscape: NetSuite / Salesforce / ADP / Power BI / SuccessFactors
6. Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage and Databricks.
7. Advanced Microsoft Excel (Including VBA), Word and PowerPoint skills
8. Experience of delivering end to end use case implementations – from requirements gathering, solution documenting through to model build and implementation
9. Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving methods
